Heatmap with Quadratic scaling

These graphs where developed for the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory as part of my internship there. It is used for monitoring radioxenon sensors that are part of a world-wide network for monitoring compliance with the CTBT. This data is helpful for determining if a sample is from a nuclear explosion or some other radiation source.

These graphs have x and y axis quadratic scaling, allow zooming and selection of interesting regions. They where incorporated into a web application replacing the previous method of statically generating images.

This test image shows the scaling. The actual data does not get scaled nearly this much.
